Whole Wheat Sourdough Discard Tortillas

Our family eats a LOT of tortillas. We have breakfast tacos almost daily. We eat a lot of tacos. There are very few store-bought tortillas that are healthy. Most of them have a LOT of preservatives, bleached flour, seed oils, etc.

I have tried to make tortillas in the past and felt like they were pretty difficult.

Since then, I have started making most things from scratch, so I thought I would give tortillas a shot again!

I will say that making sourdough discard tortillas are much easier than I thought it would be.

Something that I feel is VERY important with making tortillas is having a tortilla press. It simplifies the whole process.

My favorite way to enjoy these tortillas are for breakfast!

These tacos have eggs from my chickens, a bit of bacon and breakfast sausage, orange bell pepper, yellow onion, garlic, and topped with Tillamook medium cheddar and a bit of Cholula! So delicious! I enjoyed them with a Wild and Well kombucha which is locally made!
