I don’t personally know the creators of this recipe. My mom got this recipe from a neighbor of theirs when she was young. The woman who shared it was from Italy. So, my mom called it “Italian Coffee Cake.”
It’s pretty easy to make; my kids enjoy making it.
It’s a great “throw together” dessert if you need one pretty quickly. I mean, it takes a while to bake, but it’s super easy to get into the pan and in the oven.
For some reason I don’t have any pictures of the actual cake that I can find, so the pic of the recipe will suffice!
