2018 has been the best year of my life probably. The best I’ve felt mentally in years and years. Finally got the best meds for my brain and sobriety has also made a huge difference. I’ve decided to go into 2019 with a word for the year as the center of my focus. That word is INTENTIONAL.
This year has been the most intentional year that I’ve ever had. I didn’t think it was going to be that way because I was struggling at the beginning. But one new medication changed everything for me (with the combo that I’m on) at the end of January.
We’re going into the coming year with the decision to do so much together as a family. Camping, backpacking, bike races, games, movie nights, prayer time, worship, Bible reading, family style dinners, reading, and more. These are all things we already do but we will do more and do it with more intention.
I’m so thankful to God for all that He has done in my life and I’m already moving into the new year with hope and expectation.
